The Archdeacon of Lynn is a senior ecclesiastical officer within the Diocese of Norwich. As archdeacon he or she is responsible for the disciplinary supervision of the clergy 〔"ABCD: a basic church dictionary" Meakin, T: Norwich, Canterbury Press, 2001 ISBN 978-1-85311-420-5〕 within the area deaneries. The archdeaconry of Lynn was created from those of Norwich and of Norfolk on 28 August 1894.
